Valdas Ozarinskas is a talented architectural visionary who passed away ten years ago. He did not fit into the standard architectural frameworks. As the architect of many of the Contemporary Art Centre’s exhibitions, he spent a large part of his life in this museum. It is here that the artist’s daughter Elena walks, having to take away the artist’s legacy from the museum. The visit becomes a tender farewell and a touch of her father’s work, as well as to his projects that were never realised. Black is not only the title of the film, but also the last phase of the architect’s work, where sadness and Ozarinskas’ own words, “We have done nothing more”, are like a black hole in space.
