Dreams Rewired

What used to look like an utopia has become reality today. Phone, radio, cinema and television have secured a world in which we can share information instantly, despite the time and distance. More than 200 rare excerpts from cinema and television become a dynamic video essay on technology evolution and the ambiguous human relationship with it. Tilda Swinton narrates the story which is  ironically illustrated with archival material of the represantations of different inventions. Among the various communication tools that announce the progress of humanity, we can also see a device designed to measure the performance of human body at an industrial factory. In our dreamy world, “Every unnecessary movement is money wasted!”.
