Dancing For You

Twelve year old Vilde wants to be the first female “Halling” folk dance champion. A traditional dance for men only. Her greatest challenge isn’t the competition – she’s convinced that her strength and passion for dance and life are helping her beloved grandfather to win his fight against cancer. 

Giovanni and The Water Ballet

Ten-year-old Giovanni is the only boy in a world of swimsuits, nose clips, glittery make up and chattering girls. For the last four years, it’s been his dream to be the first boy to enter the Dutch synchronized swimming championship. He’s got just one more exam to go – will he make it? 

Varicella 

 Seven-year-old Polina and her 13-year-old sister Nastia live and breathe ballet. Both of them are studying at the Boris Eifman Dance Academy in Saint Petersburg. They’re currently awaiting their grades to find out if they’ve done well enough to be promoted to the next year, with Nastia lovingly guiding her little sister through the process. But in the meantime, Nastia also has to deal with the high demands that the academy places on its students.
