Ukrainian Sheriffs

A tragicomic portrait of a two-man team in a remote village of Southern Ukraine disturbed by everyday incidents and political developments. These affable sheriffs were deputized by the mayor. Driving in their yellow Lada flying it’s own little Ukrainian flag, they travel from incident to incident – to calm down a neighbour, to convin another one to stop eating dogs, to catch a thief, to discover a body... The advent of Euromaidan, and draft-dodgers around. Village folks are dipping in icy water and laughing, but are their beliefs similar? These sheriffs are taking you along for the ride.
