Hi, Rasma!

According to the legend, a huge Latvian cargo ship called ‘Rasma’ sank in Estonian waters 74 years ago. Its contents was so impressive that local people were eating flour from the ship for 3 years, and there were even lots of bicycles and sewing machines on board. This film’s mischievous director walks along the shoreline of Estonia, and talks with the people she meets about the details of this legend. She has made a wonderful collage of insights – you will begin to see the vast details of this legendary ship, and a portrait of the local people.
