Anthill

Anthill is a portrait of a giant garage complex, located in the largest Soviet blockhouse area of Tallinn. Here, seven-hundred garage owners form an extraordinary men’s club, and vary from those who just keep their cars inside, to those who adapt their garages for living. The complex is a unique biosphere with the existence of private saunas, a restaurant, an animal clinic and other various artefacts of life, all stuck living twenty years in the past.

Vladimir Loginov

Vladimir Loginov was born in Tallinn, Estonia. He graduated from the International University of Social Science’s Sociology department, and gained additional experience in TV production, news and advertising design at the BBC’s Moscow Congress. Vladimir’s filmography consists of both short and feature length films. His films have won best short film awards at Kinoshok in Russia and Armenia, as well as being picked for the East Silver market.
