Retrospective Program - Paweł Łoziński’s Films  

In the film, Łoziński paints a portrait of four ladies that are “kitty moms”, i.e. women who feed homeless cats. The changing of the four seasons, and the caring that gives meaning to the lives of these lonely women who are somewhat eccentric but also sincere and warm – true angels of good. The “spring mom” has still preserved the traces of her former beauty. She takes care of the cats living in a botanical garden. The “summer mom” spends time at the cemetery. She always has something yummy to eat and chats with feline friends in her calm, pleasant voice. The “autumn mom” comes to the park with a man. For them, cats are like children who left home long ago. Hard frost does not scare the “winter mom”, who is a former teacher who feeds cats late at night and speaks of them with affection as if talking about people.
