We see the last show of Benas Šarka, which displays things washed up on shore that are turned into objects that look like “birds pecking your eyes”. Benas Šarkas is an avant-garde artist, a man-bird. As to the question of who he is, Benas answers in words that sound like a quote from Shakespeare’s play, stating “I am a mortal composition of clay and water.” There are no signs of routine in his life, no echoes of a philosophical monologue. For him, creation is the only way of communication. One can sketch his portrait through the story of his creation.

Mykolas Vildžiūnas

Mykolas Vildžiūnas was born in 1981 in Vilnius. In 2004 he received a bachelor’s degree in Theatre Acting at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre and in 2009 at the same institution received a master’s degree in TV and film directing. Since 2001 he has been an assistant director of many Lithuanian feature films and both director and producer of private and public cultural events. Since November 2007 he is the founder, producer and creative director of Just a moment film studio.
